Table border colors

Does anyone know how to change the colors of a table from the default color ?

this is best done in css... to do it inline, add the following code to the <table> tag:

Code: Select all
<table style="border-color:#000000">
replacing #000000 with the colour code you want...

if you don't know css, i advice you learn it, its a great help to the website developer!!

Thanks for the help everyone

Talking of CSS I brought a book last week that teaches XHTML and CSS2 right for a basic starting point. I will start working through it this weekend.
I am also learning Java Script and PHP at present.

For CSS, simply apply the rule to your table. --> border-color: yourcolour
