Re: Dreamweaver 8

their is a tag tbody.

it apparently alows you to structure/apply styles and borders to segments of your form.
In your case I dont think they are necessary so I would try removing them.

HTML: Select all
   <form>
  <td height="24" valign="top" class="style58">Price list and Brochure Request </td>
  <td></td>
  <tbody>
    <tr>
      <td height="32">&nbsp;</td>
      <td></td>

  </tbody>
  <tbody>
    <tr>
      <td height="65" colspan="2" valign="top"></td>

  <form id="form1" name="form1" method="post"
remove <form> before td height="24 and all <tbody> tags. that should get your form working again.

Re: Dreamweaver 8

Marc,

Fraid I can't understand this vbcode business, all I wanted to know was where I had gone wrong because I cant get the cgi script on www.classicboats.co.uk/page8a.html to work.

Do I have to transpose all the coding on the page to vbcode? Now I am really lost!!

could you e-mail me direct do you think??

vbcode is for putting snippets of code in an easy readable fashion on the forum.

In future when you post code put it in

[code] tags

tags.

Re: Dreamweaver 8

Now I have my enquiry form up and working again thanks to dab42pat, why is it that once I have followed the link from an email notification and logged on that I get to read some messages but not all of them relating to the topic. it was purely by chance that I came across the one from dab42pat??
