Putting website on CD[urgent help needed]

Hi,

Could anyone be kind enough to give me some advise on how I can make a website (approx 60 .shtml pages navigation is javascript based) accesible when offline?

I prefferably want to store it in a shared drive or on CD .

I have a vague thought that I may need to convert it to an exe. file but I cannot find anything to help me do this.

PLEASE HELP!!

many thanks

Just copy every file (all images, scripts, code files, etc.) onto the CD in the exact directory structure it is online. Then, open the CD and double click index.html/index.php/default.asp, etc. Whichever file is the 'home page'.

I'm not entirely sure, but it may even be possible to configure auto run to open the page for you.

Re: Putting website on CD[urgent help needed]

If you want the information available on one computer, ie a laptop use IE and goto tools then synchronise you can then have the site on a local PC

My friend uses this to the go and sell space on his web site to clients
