Dreamweaver, Templates, Sub users
Good Afternoon,
I dont know if this is possible, so i thought I would use the knowledge of the forum. Can I make templates in Dreamweaver that can be edited by frontpage. At work we only have 1 DreamW license and loads of Frontpage licenses, the problem i have is that sub users are editing parts of the pages that they shouldnt. I was hoping to make a template so they can only edit certain sections then for them to edit it in frontpage. Is this possible?? Cheers Daniel |

Re: Dreamweaver, Templates, Sub users
You should be able to if I understand the question.
You would make a template in dreamweaver. Make areas uneditable. Save the template as index.html, contact.html etc and upload. Now the uploaded pages have areas that are not touchable to those using frontpage? I think it's worth a try with at least one page to see. |
