Re: Its me again! Help please
Layers are very unpredictable. I wouldn't use them for anything. Can we see what your trying to do?

Re: Its me again! Help please
Here is an attached Preview of the layer on the design in Microsoft Expression Web, a preview of the document in IE and mozilla. Why does it do this?
All I want is the text where it should be as shown in the 1st image. Would it be easier if i just put the text on the design with photoshop? As I have designed the layout with photoshop. Last edited by trayc; Sep 9th, 2007 at 14:11. |

Re: Its me again! Help please
it looks like the layer that uses the text is positioned absolutely.
i think you're gunna have to put it in a container and position relative it. sorry if that doesn't make sense. if someone could elaborate on what i'm saying...

I don't know what you mean by 'container'

Re: Its me again! Help please
I think what alexgeek is getting at is instead of using layers, you should use containers via CSS/divs to hold your page elements. Then position them using relative positioning instead of absolute positioning.
If your not familiar with CSS look here Scott |

Re: Its me again! Help please
When I change the positioning to Relative, it just messes up my page, I think its because of the slices I have put in. I think the best way for me to put this text on the design is by Photoshop, I see no other solution.
Thanks for the help anyway. |

Re: Its me again! Help please
The quick and easy solution for you is to use the PS program. However, if you want to do it right, you need to learn the basics. We have some great resources in the beginner's forum.
