background moving issue

Hi,

Im currently building a site:

I have set different areas to have background images.

Everything is displaying fine apart from when i minimize the window. ie make it small horizontally.

The background image appears to have moved over if you then scroll over to the right?

I want the background image to maintain fixed.

Any ideas how i can sort out this proiblem?

Ps - i have only tested in IE atm and havent got round to fixing firefox issues yet.

uhh in firefox i don't see any background

nor IE7 :S

It displays fine in ie 7.

the page is divided into 3 sections:

header

content

footer

each section has a seperate background. The backgrounds apear as the columsn on the left and the right of the design. Attached is a screenshot form ie7 which ius how the site should look.

Any ideas how i can stop it from moving when the browser window is minimized horizontally?

Also how i can fix it in firefox?
