arrrr...IE PC chewing up my cells

Hi..

Can anyone help me with the problem I'm having?? (Pulling my hair out)..
Main landing: (which is fine, only on the subpages/content do I have trouble)

http://www.373design.com/rpg/

The cells on the left (blue) are shifting in IE (PC) at this link and following:
http://www.373design.com/rpg/about/about.html (and all other subpages)

Look below the "what's new" area..you'll see what I'm talking about..the cells are shifting down..
showing a white gap..
Does anyone know what's causing this? And a potential fix?

Thanks in advance.

Potential Fix:-

DONT USE TABLES.

You have a very basic layout that could easily be recreated in CSS and XHTML without using any tables. This will make your website much more search engine friendly, accessible, faster to load and easier to maintain.

Haven't gotten into CSS for design yet, just for my type manipulation.

I don't want to stray far off from your topic's need (which is help), but I'd like to say that if you take a small amount of time to teach yourself layout with CSS, you'll love it.

In fact, laying out a site with tables is actually harder than with css. Not to me, but harder in general. Less code to write, and much more control over where things end up, and all with only a handful of lines of code.
