hi, i have recently been told that a big site requires a 'cms' now with the cms i have installed, all themes i have are e107 themes, so how would i get a html theme working on my site, would i have to delete the cms and just run a html theme off a new database, or can i just simply insert the html and edit the cms some how? im puzzled please help

Re: themes in html

I think you are a bit confused as to what a 'html theme' is. Usually if you have a CMS (Content Management System), like Joomla, or a blog, like WordPress, or a forum, like SMF or PHPBB, then you can install 'themes.' A theme usually contains a set of CSS files and images that change the look and layout of the forum or CMS or blog...
Hope that helps clear up the 'digital fog' that seems to be hanging around you.

Re: themes in html

Not necessarily. Themes are designed for specific CMSs usually. If your CMS is custom then you will need a custom theme. If its a popular CMS then you will probably find some ready made theme's knocking about.

Pete.
