Smile Uploading visitors file to my site

Hi Everyone,
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I had a question about uploading files. Sorry if it is a stupid question, but I am a serious newbie!
Here is what I want to do. I am doing a website where people can upload their MS Word files and PDF files from their computer and I will review them. I don't want them to be displayed on my website. I just want them to be able to do that "browse" and it will search their HD and upload what they want.
I got the basics of the webdesign down, but I have no idea how to do this.
I am using Dreamweaver and have yahoo for my host.
I guess my question is, how do I enable something on my website to do this?
Thanks so much for any help.

Re: Uploading visitors file to my site

Thanks for your quick response. I am really in a bind.

I went to Yahoo and it says that it does support php, but not asp.

Again, thanks so much for any help!!

Re: Uploading visitors file to my site

Yes, that did point me in the right direction. Thank you.
I am still looking to see once the file is uploaded, where I can find it.
I am guessing somewhere in my file manager. Not sure because I have never done anything like this before..
Thanks again for your help.
I appreciate it.

Go by the rule, if its specified in the script, its there. if not it will drop the file in the same directory as the script.
