General Help needed
I just want some general help really. I just wondered if it is possible to use a guestbook type interface to update the content on a homepage of a website, as I think it would make life easier when updating websites, and especially news articles.
If anyone knows of any way to do this could they please point me in the right direction. **im unsure if this is in the correct forum, please move if it isnt**

yeah that's no problem, depends on what type of backend you use. I use php and mysql.
Did u want help coding something like that (always ready to help), or did you just want to know it its possible?

I already have a php guestbook, all I need to do is locate the index.php page inside a div tag on my normal website if it is possible, any help would be appreciated.

There are CMS programs out there that let you streamline your entire site. WordPress and TextPattern are two of my choices.

Couldn't he just do a PHP include and mod the index.php to work with the layout? Alternately I would suggest Textpattern as you can just plop your existing code into it etc.. Wordpress has a theme structure which imo over complicates the process.
