Question Three columns

Good Afternoon,
What I am trying to do is stick a menu on my website. It is going to be plain white background with 3 columns.

But I am having a moment where I can get 2 columns but the 3rd column attempt ends up below the first 2.

Can any one help.

Dan

Re: Three columns

You probably have a problem with your widths not equaling to the total amount that you are allowed and have specified in a parent element.

Make sure you compensate for margins, paddings and borders as different browsers interprets the box model differently.

If this all sounded like a foreign language to you then, that's what you get when you don't post a link!

http://www.glish.com/css/7.asp

This is an example of 3 columns.

There is some others on there as well, you will be able to play with the width until you get it right.

Re: Three columns

Moojoo has two examples here of how to correctly use a 3 column layout.

You probably can do it the way you described, but you do not want to!
