Re: GoLive

Yeah, it's sort of like Dreamweaver, a WYSIWYG(What You See is What You Get) editor.

I still prefer hand coding everything. I could see how some might like it. One benefit it DID have was that you could put native Photoshop and Illustrator files right into GoLive and it would convert them over, etc.

But with CS3 Dreamweave and Flash now do it as well. :-)

Cheers,

Scott

Re: GoLive

I used it a long time ago, but haven't really heard anything about it lately.

Re: GoLive

My friend uses it. I have not played very much with it.
I think dreamweaver is way better.

Re: GoLive

See i would get dreamweaver because im very proficient with it but i just got a mac and my windows applications wont transfer over to my mac. So i have can get golive for free rather than going and buting the cs3 web premium (which i do want but i just can afford)

Re: GoLive

The CS3 bundle works on both Windows and Macs I believe.

Re: GoLive

Yeah bt i dont have cs3 so i would have to go out and buy it. I had 8 for windows. So i either have to save up the money and get the cs3 web premium or get golive for free.
