Problems

Why arent my top.jpg, back.jpg and bottom.jpg showing up within the wrap? And why is there a gap between my header and navigation?

http://www.timothy-clark.com/newstore/

Thanks.

Re: Problems

I can't see your css. Here is the link CSS - chrome://ietab/content/reloaded.html?url=http://www.timothy-clark.com/newstore/

I need to be able to see the link to see the problem. None of your photos are showing so I think you must have your paths wrong to all your photos, external css etc.

Re: Problems

Heres the css: http://www.timothy-clark.com/newstore/homemain.css

Dont worry about the photos, i havent uploaded them. The header and nav bar should show up though. Do they?

In dreamweaver it shows the top, background and bottom image but when i view it in browser it doesnt.

Re: Problems

Yes I can see the header and the navigation.

I ran your site through the html validator and you have a lot of errors. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...%2Fnewstore%2F

Code: Select all
#top {
  	width: 750px;
	height:100;
  	background: url(top.jpg) no-repeat;
	}

	#bottom {
  	width: 750px;
	height:100;
  	background: url(bottom.jpg) no-repeat;
	}
both height values need to be changed to 100px;

Are you sure the path to the files back.jpg and the bottom.jpg are correct?

Re: Problems

i added the 'px'. I'm sure the paths are correct yes. It works in dreamweaver. And why am i getting a space between header and navigation?

The tiny gap between my header and nav shows the back.jpg.

Is it the order of my divs or something?

Re: Problems

Probably because you haven't assigned a height and width to your header.jpg
