background-image in firefox
hi,
body {background-image: url('\\server\db\images\backgroupimg.jpg ');} the above code i m using in CSS , it is working fine in IE but when i open the same page in Firefox it doesnt display th background image. any idea please ? y its not displaying the background image in Firefox ? Thanx

many thanx for reply.
i took it out but still not working. Actualy this double slash \\ represents server name for full qualied path. any one please ?

Well, I'm only Linux qualified, but take the URL out of the equation and your CSS is fine. Look for another problem because there's nothing else wrong with your CSS.
By the way, getting your site to work in Firefox first is the only way to make your life as a web designer easier. If IE was laid to rest tomorrow, I'd leave a whoopie cushion and a hand buzzer in its coffin. Get your site to work in FF, then clean up IE's mess.
