Hello everybody! I hope someone will be able to help me.
I'm putting together a website (shocked, aren't you?) and for a section of it I'm tweaking a script for a slide out menu that I found here (where there is listed the code). It wasn't hard, and I got an almost satisfying result, if it wasn't for one thing - HERE is how far I've come. Letting the mouse hover on the thumbnail, a tab with a couple of links slides out. So far, so good. What I can't understand is why every time a link ends - after Snow, the small picture and the Jadis31 - a new line is automatically generated, as if there was a <br />. (The only one I actually put in was after the comma.) Could anyone help me out with that...? Thanks in advance! |

Re: DHTML script problem!
I tweaked the exact same menu for my last website. But, I don't understand your question. Are you asking why the comma is on the next line down?

Re: DHTML script problem!
Exactly! It shouldn't be - just like the icon and the "jadis31" should both be on the same line.
I'm afraid there might be some kind of conflict with this other script I'm using, Lytebox... |

And in case someone encounters my same problem - in the CSS section of the "head" portion of the code, look for:

Hm. Block should make them stack, not line up horizontally.

Re: DHTML script problem!
Sadly, I know near to zero when it comes to javascript coding - my only guess is that some other part of the code might be interfering with that.
My approach to the script was kind of the "type something and hope for the best" quality. :P |

Re: DHTML script problem!
That's not JS, is CSS... And CSS is very straightforward when it comes to the display property.
