favicon.ico problem
okay, i'm working on a web page for a friend and i am pretty much finished with the website design for my friend, and he wants a custom logo in the site (right next to the URL address) i read i had to create a Favicon.ico and place it in the root directory, done and done
I did this and it managed to work, but the the icon that angelfire uses overwrites the ico file that i placed in the directory. anyhelp?? or should he pay for webhosting to get the ico file to work? |

If angelfire are overwriting the ico file, then I am afraid there is probabally nothing you can do.
Maybe it's worth search google to see if anyone has overcome this. Personally I would procure some hosting without these restrictions.
