Problem with Layout

Hello Everyone.

I have a problem with my personal website I am building.
My front-page looks great but when I click on a page with more content the sides get all wacky.

the site is http://www.ggoodwin.info
Click on my resume or my contacts to see an example of the page going wacky.

Hope someone can help me with this.

Thanks,
Greg

Re: Problem with Layout

It's prolly coz you are using an ms word generated document in that iframe.

In the resume document, the main table is set to
width=595

There's the main problem.

Code your resume in normal HTML and dont save it from word, coz word sucks

Re: Problem with Layout

That's a spiffy looking site, but it's a shame you're using tables for its layout. You'd find youself in a much better position to design and maintain websites if you studied XHTML and learned how to use CSS to make designs.

Re: Problem with Layout

Thanks for the help guys.

I know I need to learn some more CSS and XHTML.
Unfortunetly I can get the design to look nice in photoshop but the most I can do from that point on is use the splice tools and export it.

I am a programmer by trade so design has been naturally painful.

I will read up on some stuff and see if I can convert some of these tables to CSS.

Thanks again,
Greg
