And over this past summer, the people here on webforumz and tutorials on the internet have made my skill increase by far. I started learning css and xhtml during that time and tryed to refrain from using tables. Now im completely building the school site by myself using css and html. I wanted to start my own business when i first started but now I've been taliking with a guy from a video recording and editing company and we're going to both work together and make a multi-media comapny. just give yourself the time and the only advice that i could really give you is, take the time to practice new things to get better at them, look at tutorials all over the internet to learn new possibilities that you can use for prospect clients, and for yourself to add alittle pizazz to your own personal stuff. It's slow starting off commercially because nobody knows who you are and you dont have much out there for people to look at. Hit small little shopping strips and little hole in the wall places and sacrifice alittle time to make good sites for a cheap price because once you get your stuff out there people start to notice and then you can start upping the price alittle. And i know you can find those little shopping strips in texas because im from houston and i know for sure there are alot of them and the all want a web site. I know you look at my age and how long ive been in whe web industry and say "how can you possiably know what your talking about, you're just a kid?". I'm also a father who watches out for his son and family and this is my main income. I've sacrafice time teaching my sone new things in order to get a web site done on time so i can make sure he has diapers on his butt and formula in the bottle. If your ever in houston look me up. My name's jonathon harrelson and we'll talk alittle more.
Sorry for being so long winded, i didnt think i was going to write my life's story either.

You're not much younger than myself, i'm just starting college. Thats pretty much why I want to start my own company, I want to be able to pay for my education myself doing something I enjoy doing.
I probobly started designing websites at 14 or 15, then I took my webmastering class (lol like the rest of us) at around 16. Then I had a long break where I didn't really design anything because the class ended, and I had other hobbies to attend to. Now basically my task will be switching from tables design (

) to
CSS. Which shouldn't be too hard.
Building a school website is a pretty good accomplishment though, what school are you building it for? And if you don't mind, post a url to one of your websites so I can see your work.
