Confused wanna be, need much help

Hi all. I've started learning XHTML and CSS about two weeks ago. Anyways my question(and yes I feel very stupid), I have just finished making a navigation bar. One similar to this: http://www.abtuts.com/tutorial.asp?ID=29. My question is, how do I make each separate section of the navigation bar a link? I.E. the home section a link to home and the gallery section a link to the gallery? I also have a trial version of coffee editor(i think that's what it is called). I'm not sure if you needed to know that, but I hope it helps you help me.

Use the link tag, <a>.
