i am currently writing a web site for the MFL dept at the school i work at, i have a page which shows the top 3news articles, because i am using this tinymce (lil bit of free java script which adds formatting tools, like on this site, to forms). this adds html under the users view.
the page which shows the top 3, i want the news its self to be 'plain text' no formatting. i guess this would be done with some sort of replace string (replacing every thing in between < and >, incluing these tag bracket, with ' '), as the html is already present in the db. i know that is probally clear as mud but it is easy if you saw it. |

Re: Dont write HTML code
Do you mean that the it allows the user to write html code into the text box and you don't want them to do that?
As I remember, html code behind the text entered isn't shown by default. |
