Dreamweaver problem

Hi Guys

I'm trying to do a website using dreamweaver 8, using wysiwyg and having a reet nightmare.

I've creted my template using a table and began to be happy witht hey way it was looking - then I went ahead to add some text in the table and for some reason it only produces text in bold, I've tried turning off the css in preferences by unchecking the use css instead of html tage box but it makes no difference.

It doesn't make sense to me! I have tried using the bold button but when i highlight the test and then click bold the text stays the same - any ideas?

Also the page looks fine in IE, but for some reason in firefox the navigation images appear about 1/2 a cm down in the column -why this difference.

As you may have guessed I'm an amatuer so any advice you have would be appreciated.

Regards

Sl

Re: Dreamweaver problem

Without the code and/or a link to the html and css files we know less about the problem than you do.

Re: Dreamweaver problem

Try viewing the code where the bold text is and get rid of the <b> tags (if any) surrounding it.
