Problems with cache when updating my site

Hello everyone,
I was hoping to find some skilled people with experience here, to get a solution for my problem, since not even my web hosting provider could help me... :/

I have recently opened an online shop, and naturally I have to update it very often (every day, pretty much). The problem is, that when I upload the new content to the host, and try to check the changes with my browser (I test with both, IE and Firefox), I see only the old pages. Naturally I immediately thought that it is because of the cache, and cleared it about 50 times already, but it does not help. It keeps on showing me for example, the old pictures that doesnt even exist on the server anymore. I tried to check my page using proxy, through another country, and it showed me the page as it should be - with all the new updated stuff. But when I checked it again without it, it showed me the old ones again.

I'm out of ideas on how could I see the updated stuff on my browser, so I was hoping I could get some help in here. I thank you billions already in advance!
-Wickrath

Re: Problems with cache when updating my site

Deleting offline content doesn't help, I have tried countless of times. THe same problem seems to appear on my girlfriend's computer.

Sometimes it works when I press F5 to refresh the site, and then I see the updated content, but sometimes not even that seems to work.

Re: Problems with cache when updating my site

If you are seeing the pages have been updated when using a proxy then this is a cache issue with your PC.

Try manually deleting yout temp internet folder, not via your browser.

Re: Problems with cache when updating my site

this could be a cache problem not on your side but on your service providers side. After switching my DNS information over to another DNS server all of my problems with this went away. I don't understand any of this stuff, I just know it worked for me.

I'm using Hostmonster, and after some mail exchanges with a technical support person, he told me to search with google, lol... And still nothing.

Are you using a CMS (Content Management System)? If so, which one?
