[SOLVED] Wiki Proof
Not sure if this is the right place for this
But I am trying to convince my boss that a wiki would be great for all the procedures we have. He's not convinced. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a publicly available site that is a set of procedures? |

Re: Wiki Proof
What would you use it for? If you let us know we might be able to judge whether it would be a good choice or not.

Re: Wiki Proof
Okay - sorry it wasn't clear
At the moment we have 100 odd procedure statements in pdf format. My thoughts are that through a wiki, using tags etc, the statements can become a bit more 'organic' and I could -for example - look up everything that has to be done at the start of the day through a tag 'start' or by the role I am in - say 'admin' I know it can be done, but with the 100 odd existing statements, I want to have sign off before I blow a day or two setting it up. Hope that clears it a bit |

Re: Wiki Proof
Well ... I just did a google search for procedures wiki and apart from the obvious wikipedia.org entries ... there are quite a few.

That just about sums up my month. I did a google search, and I swear I didn't get anything - I was using wiki first though
I feel like a royal doofus - thanks for pointing me in the right direction. |
