Re: Question from the very beginner of web designer
Contact forms and such require dynamic languages.
PHP is the most flexible, greatest support and easiest to learn.

Re: Question from the very beginner of web designer
well it all depends what exactly you want to do.
if you are serious about web developing and designing, then learning all these languages are essential, sorry no way around it. if however it is just a small site you are doing, nothing serious then just a basic knowlage of HTML will do as a lot of hosters have a site builder function included. if this doesnt appeal then "what you see is what you get" code writers are also available hope this helps

Re: Question from the very beginner of web designer
And you can't learn HTML without CSS ... they go hand-in-hand
Think of HTML as the framework and walls of a house. CSS would be the paint and ceramic tiles, etc... Go to the link in my first post ... that will get you started in the right direction. |

Re: Question from the very beginner of web designer
Basically, HTML and CSS are mandatory. Once you've got a reasonably good grip on these, start learning PHP. Javascript is optional I'd say, but it can be very useful. Similarly, Flash is also optional, but again it can be very beneficial.
HTML, PHP and CSS are absolutely necessary though. |
