Re: how to create a drop-down vavigation menu?

I would recommend you use HTML/(x)HTML and CSS for your navigation... It is alot easier.

For some code look here: http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/.

Just play about with it. Also, if you do a google search for 'CSS Drop Down Menus' it will list alot of options.

Hope this helps!

EDIT: Forgot to say - that has very minimal JS and it is for IE.

Yes, that is a great site... You might want to look at this: http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/dd_valid.html and style it to whe way you want it.

CSS Play is one of the best!

Hint - you have to get the code by viewing the source - may sound simple but I couldn't figure it - I asked dad and he said "view the source".

Duh!

Yeh, i dont know why they dont let you download the HTML and CSS in a .txt file. It would save this sort of confusion.

I presume it's because it is one guy running the entire site and he cannot be bothered.

Maybe we should make a webforumz CSS site with hundreds of resources lol!

(Starts dreaming up ideas...)

Re: how to create a drop-down vavigation menu?

Sometimes there is a zip file you can download with all the css and HTML in there with images.

There was a menu I wanted with no zip or images and when i viewed source and got the css and html it still didn't work as expected because the images were missing
