Re: newbie help on web buiding
learning html would greatly help you.
then for the user input PHP you would a dynamic language such as php. there isn't a program that'll do what you want done. you could either pay someone or learn how to do it yourself good luck

Re: newbie help on web buiding
You are sort of between a rock and a hard place. It is not a good idea to get comfortable with a program that writes the code for you. Those are normally called WYSIWYG programs like Dreamweaver, Microsoft Expressions (I think thats the new one replacing FrontPage). You really should learn HTML first so you have a solid foundation to work from. You can then if you wish use dreamweaver or the like in code view to build your sites and you can use the design view to verify how it looks. Once you have the foundation, you can take on php and sql. I use an open source program called Xampp which has PHPadmin, mysql and apache server. great little tool for building dynamic databases.

e.g. you type <ac and it guesses you want an acronym tag (press enter and it well do it for you). but it's a fairly expensive program. (i don't know the exact price as i got it as a bundle). it's over £200 i think though.
