Re: links page

It would depend on what sort of site you're talking about. Can you give us a clue? A bit hard to help, otherwise.

Conventionally menu type links to other pages would be repeated on each page, but if you're talking about links to, say, sponsors, you could have a dedicated page with each sponsor's logo on that page.

But you'll have to give us a bit more information than you have.

Re: links page

Ah, it seems you're referring to link exchange: you put their link on your page, and they put yours on their site.

I can't help on the aesthetics; it's too subjective. But can you supply a link to your site? Some may have ideas if they've done this themselves.

Re: links page

This is just a suggestion but it problably would look appropriate to your site. Since you are thinking link exchanges, you can use other business logos as part of the link. I would also suggest you write out the addres also. One thing you really have to be aware of is the size of the logo... That will be set by how many links you want on the page. One other thing to remeber about a links page is to check the links regularily to make sure they are still active. there is nothing I hate more than go to a links page, click and have it got nowhere, to the former sites ISP or worse to someone new who has purchased the .com.....

Re: links page

My opinion is similar to the ones above, if you need them have them, such as exchange or sponsors but unless that is the case, ask yourself will it serve a vital service or will it just create unnecessary extra work. I can't stress the point of regular checks to ensure the link address still point in the right direction or to a page at all. Your site can loose a lot of credibility if you point to broken links and that is hard to get back.
If you don't need it leave it, that's my advice.

for example, our logo is a spaceship stabbed by a sword...so you would show the logo and next to or below you would have a hyperlink ie elsewherebooks.com.

Hope that makes a little more sense.
