The first thing you can do is lose the tables, and build the website using valid (X)HTML and CSS.

Re: Collecting suggestions for making a website that preferable for SEO

-Have a domain name with one of your keywords is helpful.
-Using keyword phrase rich titles on each page.
-Use Meta tags with Keywords (some people think this is obsolete but until I see written proof I do them "in case")
-Use Meta tags with Description on every page (same comment as above)
-
Use of h1 tags and h2 tags on up to h6
-Text that is well written for people using your top keyword phrases.
-Clean code (as Padraig mentioned). Learn to handcode so the code is not bloated full of stuff that can be easily put into a css file.
-Many relevant backlinks
-text navigation using keywords

Well that's a good start.. I'm sure I've forgotten some things... other's can remember.

Re: Collecting suggestions for making a website that preferable for SEO

* Some of your images are over 200kb each
* Maybe lose the dotted background (just my opinion, nothing to do with seo)
* The page has a lot of javascript in it
* Not too keen on ticker tape things (again not a seo thing)
* I think forcing people to login before a purchase will put people off
* The left nav bar is massive

Just my thoughts!
