Pro design and CMS that is SE friendly

Hello, (Nice introduction.. You sure you are a spammer?)

I am trying to gauge the interest in a new service we are releasing. (I'm listening. Not interested but at least I'm listening)

Comments and feature suggestions are appreciated, thanks! (Comments and suggestions on what exactly?)

If you own websites or domains but are not a web coder/designer then this is for you. (O.ooo What is it - magic coding I'd love that)

Pick from a range of professional templates and we will quickly set up a site for you with a full SEO content management system. This includes a domain, hosting, emails, 2 hours professional support. (2 Hours professional support.... Who's the professional? Bill Gates? - You are saying you can do a full website and SEO in 2 hours!! Wow I wish I could see that!)

The cost is £49 per month for a minimum of 12 month contract. (£49 a month but you only offer 2 hours support..... Something fishy there)

I would be interested in your thoughts, please see (see what?) for information and for our design portfolio. (I'd rather not. I have much more exciting things to do - like keeping Webforumz (thats www.webforumz.com) free of spam and the like. Anyway now I'm off for a nice drink with a cat and a mouse... The mouse is trying to kill the cat with a rusty chainsaw! Must be called Itchy*)

Kind regards

Paul (Edited by Daniel)

*This is a reference to The Simpsons. If you are a hermit and haven't heard of the Simpsons then I am sorry.... Think of Tom and Jerry (Don't dare say you haven't heard of Tom and Jerry!!!)

Since this is a web design and development forum, I'm curious to see what response you get.

Re: Pro design and CMS that is SE friendly

lol,

Lazy copy and pasting wasn’t appreciated then?

I have no doubt you would not be interested in the service if you are a professional developer. But seeing as forums a frequented by people that aren’t, I thought chances are a few people would be interested in something like this.

I thought I would test the water so to speak.

I don’t mean to spam, but it is difficult to gauge the reaction without pointing out the features. None the less I could have done a better job of it.

sorry

£49 And if you change that to euros (I'm in Ireland), well, no thanks.

I'd rather learn how to do it myself.

Re: Pro design and CMS that is SE friendly

To be clear,

The £49 is a monthly fee for a Drupal CMS system, the designs are professional (at the moment we are considering templates, but there are clear disadvantages to this).

This £49 per month equates to £588 per year, I would not normally create a content management for less than 3 times this amount. So I think the price is good value. It is at the more expensive end, but a lot of template and CMS solutions I see don’t come with the full range of features that this offers and the designs look awful.

The 2 hours support is really just for help when something goes wrong. I cant tie up all my time supporting 'How do I do this' questions. I did not mean that the site and SEO would take 2 hours! lol

I take it you think for this price I should be offering more than two hours… or could I add value to the service in another way?

Re: Pro design and CMS that is SE friendly

I guess if I wasn't able to create websites this offer would be more appealing to me. There are free templates out there and free CMS systems.

Re: Pro design and CMS that is SE friendly

As I said.... 12 month contract and only 2 hours of support.. Something fishy sounding..

(btw the way to get around the spam filter (i.e. me) is to NOT put lots of links in there )

Hahaha...this for all the members wondering why Dan did not delete the post, is Webforumz new method of handling spam. We are just going to edit the post, and take out any advertising remarks.
