Adding 'ALT' to Picture

I have been useing this code/anchor to go to 'top of page' and this works fine, shown below.

<a href="Facts.html"><img src="resources/top.gif" border="0"></a>

But since I have added the 'ALT' code it wont work!
I added the 'ALT' like this:

<a href="Facts.html"><img src="resources/top.gif" border="0" alt=“Top Of Page“></a>

Can someone please let me know hat have I missed out or what have I done wrong?

It looks like you're using rich quotes. That could be why it's not working.

Yeh, thought that might be the problem too, Ryan. But i wasnt sure.

Yeah, that there is wrong, just write in the quotes (") again and it should work. Sometimes that happens to me and until it gets pointed out, you can't see what the problem is.

I think I must be blind as I cant find the quotation marks on my keyboard except these alt=“Top Of Page“> that I had used which are on the number 2 key on the keyboard.

hahahaha... don't you have quotation next to your "enter" key? Uppercase..

Sometimes the quote's are where the @ key is. I've had mine swap a couple of times.
