I lost my link...
to a site that researches names that you would like to use for web site. Is one place better than the other, and will the cost be the same from site to site?

If it's available most will sell it but you must shop there are cheap ones and vice versa. Look at what they give you before you commit. If your unsure post your choices in the 'Hosting' forum.
