Webhosting Fee?

I've been asked to host 3 websites for a business but I'm unsure how much to charge them for hosting. I will be hosting the websites on £30 per month server and will be offering the business unlimited webspace and bandwith as offered to me. The business would like me to host:

1. An actinic webstore with 7 products (possibility of expansion)
2. A 5 page information website that allows customers to upload text files
3. A single page information website


Any help would be greatly appreciated

How much bandwidth and disk space do you think they're going to use? If not much, I would charge maybe £5 a month for each. If they're going to be using more than 10/20 gigs of bandwidth a month, maybe £10 to £15? It doesn't have to be an exact science.

I dont expect them to use 10/20 gigs of bandwith so i might just charge £5 per month as above. I thought it would be best to ask as their current webdesigner also does their hosting but my client wouldn't tell me how much they charged, so i thought i would be better to ask than make myself look stupid.

Haha. I charge my clients $110 a year, which is a little under £5 a month.

And in terms of other webhosts is that expensive? Do you limit storage and bandwith?

I limit storage and bandwidth, but not by much. My reseller account gives me 2TB of bandwidth so I really don't ever have to worry about going over that until I get another 1000 sites. My price isn't the cheapest in the world, but it's certainly not expensive. As I'm manually setting up the accounts and maintaining them, I feel it's a more than fair.

yeah, I agree with Ryan. All hosts are going to limit you to some degree as far as bandwidth and diskspace goes. So all of those hosts that say unlimited bandwidth...are lying.

What I normally do is adjust to the clients needs. If I see that a client needs more bandwidth or diskspace I just give it to them...no questions asked.
