can i add word document?

hi - can i add a word document as a hyperlink? i only ask as i have tested it on my web through front page but i seem to loose my link when it is live on the net, any help always greatly recieved

It's just like a regular link to another page from your site. So ... you put that where ever you want the link to be.

thankyou karinne for getting back to me so fast - ok i had a look at the code and i think i've not been clear - sorry - what i actually want is when someone clicks on a picture and it automatically opens the page - just as if clicking the picture would take you to the next page. i'm really sorry i wan't clear the first time and hope you can still help.

WTF?! You're subject talks about a Word document?? Where does the picture thing come from?!

i'd like to be able to click onto the picture and it open the word document

so on my web page - when i view through front page web preview, i can click on the picture in my web page and it opens my word document up no problems - then if i transfer the page on the web, when you click the picture my word document dosen't open, i get a page straight back to my server -

The only difference being it on the web is that, depending on how the users have their browsers preferences setup they either a) have the link open automatically in the program or b) get a box asking if they want to save the file on their pc and open it from there.

But ... give a link so we can check.
