I dont consider myself a complete beginner but i aint an expert either. I run a website for my university ski club and i've notived a very wierd problem when i upload my files to the server. You can visit the site here:
http://www.dundeeunisnow.co.uk/ If you look at the update from 23/1/07 you'll see some strange characters in amongst the text. I can assure you these characters are not in my html files on my machine but when i upload to the university server they suddenly appear. I've tried uploading again but no joy. Is there a gremlin putting them in to my files? What possible explanation is there for this? Thank you kindly. |

Re: ghost in server changing my files!!!!!
You're probably using the wrong character set.
