Can you PLEEEEASE help

I've opened a site, its under construction
I registered iot with servage

I have been trying to upload a pic to appear on my main page till I finish constructing the site

the url is www.il3amalika.org
I tried in so many ways to try to make it appear on the main page but it wont.

when I upload, it gives me the directorys /www and / to upload to
I upload to / nothing comes up
/www it appears as a second page and not on the main page which is www.il3amalika.org


it appears at http://www.il3amalika.org/under.construction_01.gif

I don't which codes to use for the html file

at the moment
or if I need to upload to a directory that I don't even know it exists
please get back to me a.s.a.p

in the /www directory make a folder named images and place the file in there.

and in your HTML <img src="path/to/image/file" width="" height="" alt="" />

You also may want to make that image smaller as it is a tad large for web use.

I did what you said and created a image folder in www/
but which html do I right that in
I created a html
I uploaded it to www/
wrote what you told me to right but nothing happened
the structure still looks the same
I don't know what to do
I'm realy sorry but I'm just a begginer and I contact the server they said its in the coding
they can only help if theres a problem with the server

if I upload anythink to www/ it appears as you can see on my website
even using the web design program that the server provided

save the html file with the code that moojoo gave you as 'index.html' and upload it...

i just don't know what to say to you lot
