Automating a website
Dear Friends,
As i am wanting to automate my website in various ways, i have encountered many websites talking about PHP, CGI, MySQL, but if i am to use such techniques first i need to know what requirements i will need in order for such items to work to there intended purpose, could someone please tell me what i would need to be able to use these items. Thankyou. |

Re: Automating a website
You would need a web server that provided support for them... if you have a host, contact them and ask which server side languages and databases they offer on your plan - it's entirely possible that you would have to get an upgrade or find a different service provider.
If your hosting your own server - post to confirm and we'll give you advice about setting it up for scripting and database support. |
