Best KW Analaysis Tool and Method

What is the best way to making perfect keyword analysis? What is the best tool for keyword analysis; is it Google KW Analytics, Yahoo Inventory, or anything else? Or is it just a combination of all? I know KW analysis holds the key for SEO success, but I wish someone could tell me how I am supposed to get the keywords for my website.

We use keyword discovery, it's not free, but it's a good tool.

Search for variations (fuzzy search or related search), use miss-spellings, geographical qualifiers, ask your friends/colleagues/client what they would call the product/service...

Then see what keywords have high searches, and preferably low competition (marked as KEI in keyword discovery).

More specific keyword phrases tend to have a higher conversion rate - e.g.
searches for "computer" is likely in the first stages of a purchase process, and there is high competition... whereas searches for "dual core Acer laptop in Manchester" is likely to be done when the user has finished researching and is about to buy.

Such specific keyword phrases will generate lower levels of traffic however, so it's an art of balancing.

Go to http://www.seomoz.org/term-extractor and enter the URL for which you want the keywords/key phrases extracted. Chose 5-6 terms you consider to be most appropriate with the theme of the site.

No automated tool or site can help you until and unless there is human mind working on it.

Identify the keywords using your mind as which keyword suits your business the most.

Also do a keyword ranking analysis on MSN, Yahoo and Google.

Final comments: Keywords are categorized on 1. Sales 2. Branding.

If a site is new use sales keyword which are easy to optimize for and then probably move towards Branding keywords.

Try using the Google Suggest.. It is an excellent way to keyword suggestion tool...

It is a compilation of keywords search for the previous 90 days....

The best keyword analysis is to find the keywords from keyword suggestion tools and find searches and competition on that keyword. Perfect keyword should be relevant to the theme of your website, competition should be less and searches on that keyword should be maximum.. there are so many tools for keyword suggestion like overture inventory, digital point and word tracker, seo tool kit etc..
