[SOLVED] Problems with Descriptions in DMOZ

I have a website posted that when I do a google search, it returns the right link with the wrong description. The description that gets posted is about 4 years old. I went into dmoz and it's showing the old desc. there. My question is what will happen if I just delete the old description? Will it revert back to what's current?

Re: Problems with Descriptions in DMOZ

If you delete the old description, and place a new one instead, it should come up right. But be prepared to wait a little :: it takes Google Bot a few days to rescan your site.

Delete the old one and write a new description on the basis of the fresh and new targeted keywords and submit the same to the directory. Let the Google crawl it at its earliest convenience. Be a bit patient and it should be fine.
