Can You Make Money Online WITHOUT a Page rank?

I know a lot of people tend to emphasize how important Google's Pagerank is, but can you make a lot of money online WITHOUT one?

I know more than likely you'll make more if you have a higher pagerank, but I see some people making a decent amount of money and they're PR0.

Honestly, I think if you market your product/site right, then you should be fine... but I just want to hear what others have to say about it?

Page rank is only a guide to how you appear in search results.

It's only one way to get people to your site.... sites for places such as afflecks palace would play more on people knowing them and going to there site specifically.

Page rank is useful, especially for attracting more people... but you can make money without it.... you just have to find another way of driving traffic to your site.

You have to work out your target audience and the best way to target them... if your attracting advertisiers to put adverts on your site.... a high page rank becomes a usp...

It all depends on how your going to make your money.

A boutique would need a higher page rank because it's unheard of and people search for that genre in which there are 1000's but marks and sparks for example is a well known brand so people will search the for that specific site.

I don't think that makes much sense =/
