Default Site indexed in Google and Yahoo! But Still Not by MSN

Hi,

Just this is question one site is indexed good in Google and Yahoo!, has 2500 backlinks from Yahoo! but still zero in MSN search...

Can any one tell us how do you optimize for MSN Search?

I think MSN is just really slow, it always seems to take much longer to be index by them. Google will pick up your site within a few days as you probably noticed but MSN really does take its time. I would not really worry too much though, it will get to your site eventually.

Most people use Google for searching so I would definitely concentrate on getting optimized for Google as this will be your main source of visitors.

Another factor is that MSN always change their algorithm that's why we are having a hard time to rank in MSN...

MSN pays more attention to IP address of your website. If your website is hosted in India then most likely it will score higher rankings in MSN.co.in.

Similarly if your website is meant for UK audience and your site is hosted on US + 2500 back links from USA, then you have slim chances of scoring higher rankings within msn.co.uk.

However you can change your IP address if you are dead serious about targeting MSN
