Learning SEO
Hi All
I would like to learn SEO both to promote my own website and to add to the services I can offer in the future. What suggestions do you have for learning this subject. Books, face to face tuition, online course etc Which is the best course of action. I do like the flexibility and simplicity of video tutorials and I have been using these to learn flash but does anyone know if there is such a thing for SEO mamos |

Re: Learning SEO
Coversely, be aware that lots of rumour exists in the SEO industry. There are many things I disagree with thats touted in SEO circles.
With SEO, there are some basics and once you have the basics, the rest really is nothing more than trial and error - trial and error is the only way. SE's constantly change their algo's, so dont be afraid to experiment.. sit back wait a month... evaluate, tweak some more.... rinse and repeat.

Re: Learning SEO
SEO is not a one day process, you need to be patient. There a lot of online resources available about SEO. Just what like Rob said, learn the basic of it and from there, you can have a good foundation of SEO...

You can gain real SEO knowledge only while working on live SEO projects. Books are just a guide which can tell you about what a GEAR BOX, HORN, BRAKE is all about. You can only learn real driving while driving on a busy road on your own In a similar fashion you need to test those skills while working on live projects. |
