The sire looks nice. You can become part of various blogs, and exchange links with them. Most of the related blogs/forums will allow you to add your signature. You can use this space to highlight your blog.

You should also promote your forum on websites like digg.com. It will help your website to receive good traffic.

If your content is unique and helpful, it will immediately catch attention + traffic
