Working out with Drupal

How do you insert images to appear in your pages. I tried the normal way
Code: Select all
<img src="img_url.jpg" />
and its not working. Even flash objects are not appearing on the pages. Im using wamp in a local web server. Please help

Can you show me an actual example you have tried?
If the image is not on your site you use an absolute link, e.g.:
HTML: Select all
<img src="http://www.webforumz.com/imagize/buttons/reply.gif" />
