unable to insert flash content in DW

hi everyone!
i can't insert a flash button or text in my page.
when for example try to insert a flash button the following message is appeared:
"button1.swf is an invalid name filename.please try a different." when try a different ..the same message.
when pressing ok and flash accesibility attribute is appeared, i type a title, press ok and the following message is appeared:
"while executing onClick in Flash Options.htm, the following javascript error is oddured:
At line 55 of file "C:/Program Files/Macromedia/dreamweaver 8/configuration/Commands/Flash Options.js":
Dreamweaver can only set an attribute if the current selection is exactly one tag."

I tried to solve the problem through the javacript troubleshooting page but i couldn't.
What's going wrong? Could you please helpme?
