Re: FTP Problem
You need to check how the links are coded in Dreamweaver. Sometimes these progs give an absolute path e.g. c:/My Docs/blahblah/websites/image.jpg - which is neither use nor ornament on a web site, and sometimes a relative path, i.e. relative to the particular web page e.g. graphics/image.jpg.
Hope that helps. |

Re: FTP Problem
When you uploaded the page, did you say "yes" to Put Dependant Files"?
If not then re upload. Also you can open the remote and local files and drag and drop the pics you need from locat to remote folder. |

Re: FTP Problem
No when I say reload them, you use the UP arrow key or the "put" command.
Let's say it's the index.html that you want to upload. Open the index.html in your code or design view. Look for the UP arrow in the toolbar at the top. It will automatically connect to your server. Once it's connected a popup will appear that say, Put dependent files? Click yes. Dependent files are all the things you inserted such as links, pictures, graphics. It can also be css if that is saved in an external style sheet. Then check your upload in a browser. Maybe fresh if you need to see the latest uploads. |
