Tracking program

I'm back with my next dilemma. As I explained in my previous thread, I am updating my website this runs by earning commission from third party sales.

I want people to be reminded when they are on a website that is featured on my website. This will remind them to click through my link before purchasing to guarantee the commission will be received and they do not miss any.

So can this be written into a program? and if so how?

I want it so they log in and when they click on say www.search.com without going through a link on my site, a box will appear and state earn xxx points, and bring a tracking link up www.mysite/userid.
I imagine for this to work they will have to have the program running and be logged into my website.

Could anyone advise if this can be done and if this is in the wrong area, Sorry.

Lets see if I understand you correctly.

If someone is on a web site, any web site, that has a link to a site that you also feature, you want to intercept if they click the link to that site and direct them through to your site or at least offer them an different link. One that earns you commision.

You have got to be kidding. You would effectively have to have a program running on their machine monitoring that users browser activity.

No, he wants to put a link on pages where he has a click-through ad, so that people go BACK to his page and click-through.

If you figure out how to do this, please let me know, as I am going to put it on Amazon.com. Then I'm going to do another so that any Google search to a commercial site refers back to my page for a click-through.

Yes, but they would receive points back hence the reason for them to install it in the first place.
