Admin
Hi All,
Im in the middle of redesigning this website - http://www.sfgroup.com/sfc_index.xon...rk7krYmAsHgwha I have so far done all of the other pages except for 'Previous Donations & Application Form. For the 'Previous Donations' page I need to be able to let the Fund Manager update the page by adding new donations that they have made. I know I need to use a database and link it to the site so that it displays them on it, but how will I enable her to do this. I dont want her to have to do this by using the html code etc... Also should I use php for both of the pages as the Application From will need to be able to be submitted to a database? Or asp> Please can anyone help? Thanks |

Re: Admin
Rather than writing your own code from scratch, have you considered using code that someone else has already written and release - such as a wiki or a blog, either of which might be adapted / adopted for your role ... you (or rather she) would edit in a similar way to the way postings are made on this forum.
Your requirement is far from unique ... use someone else's already-invented wheel rather than creating your own new model! |
