It's supposed to have a hi-score table, but it never works, says 'can't load'. I've stuck all the files in, .txt and mysql and everything. Would anyone know wots wrong or want to do it for me? I'll stick ur link up on my site or something.

Cheers.

Re: hi score table

It's pretty hard to tell without seeing your PHP, Timothy. I see you're in sunny (well - not at this time of night!) Bournemouth. Why not bring along your PHP here on 5th September - it's only about 50 miles from you - and I'll make sure you've got answers to the high scores and much more

P.S. We love the 'mac' too!

Re: hi score table

OK ...

your might like to look at an example a wrote a while back that reports the worst 20 pieces of spam in my log file ... rather like your task. The source code is here and you can run it here.

I'm not clear whether you've got data in a .txt file to work with, or in a database, as your original question refers to both. My sample uses a plain text file - the answer / sample would be much shorter under SQL. Please do feel free to post follow up questions on here - I'm more than happy to answer a handful at least. I'm sure you appreciate that many of us here have a living to earn, though, and do need to make appropriate charges for serious contract work and training.
