PHP order form

Hi,

I have sort of a "between intermediate and beginner" understanding of web design, and i want to try and make an order form on my site. But i have no idea of how forms function, or how to set them properly. Any ideas?

You'll want to look into PHP. Check out this tutorial, it might be helpful.

If you want the form to update a database, you may not have an easier option than PHP.
If on the other hand, you just want to get an e-mail, some CGI script like CGIMAIL may be enough - assuming of course your server supports it.

Shalom's suggestion would definitely work, I'm sure theres a PHP script somewhere that will mail you the form results also. Maybe something like this?

Oh, and I changed the title to something more descriptive. The title should be relevant to the topic, not just "new to the forums" or "help!" or "PHP problems"
