PHP Learning Resources For Beginners

We at WebForumz are constantly asked where to find useful PHP tutorials for beginners. This thread will list links to which you can find great PHP tutorials and help. (Besides Webforumz of course! )

• W3schools.com - Is a great resource to learn any web development language. They have great, easy to follow, simple tutorials that will help you get started.
  
• Tizag.com – Great tutorials for beginners, very easy to understand.
  
• PHP Official Site – Official website for PHP. This site is quite complex, and could be hard to understand. But it's like a PHP dictionary. But, mainly for intermediates and up.
  
• Free Webmaster Help – Covers; “What Is PHP? , Why PHP? , What Do I Need? , Writing PHP, Declaring PHP etc
  
• PHP Freaks – Good tutorials for rookie - intermediates
  
• Webforumz.com - Webforumz is a massive online community, which you are obviously on now...haha. Webforumz is great for when you are stuck and can't get that bit of code working. Just ask, and someone will answer. Also, Webforumz has a great website critique area to which you can get your CMS or login system critiqued to perfection. So if you can't find your answer on any of the above, come to Webforumz!
  
• Killer PHP - This is a beginners website/course on PHP created for web designers who have little to no programming experience. Where most other PHP tutorials and books assume you know programming (or at least, that's what it seems like ...) killerphp.com assumes you need to have things explained (and demonstrated) in non-nerd terms.

Another question frequently asked by members new to PHP is how to script a login system. You can find a basic tutorial for a login system here.

I will be making a tutorial soon on how to create your very own secure login system! So stay tuned, I will post here once I finish it.
